Mayan Ruins

Chicken Itza, Coba, Tulum, Ek Balam… these are just a few of the Mayan ruins that are easily accessible from Puerto Morelos. There are three different ways to see the ruins; by car, by bus or on a tour. We are happy to chat with you about the first two or we can arrange a tour for you. We recommend Eric at Ecab Tours.

Diving and Snorkeling

Puerto Morelos has amazing diving and snorkelling. Plus the Yucatan Penninsula has some of the best Cenote (underground open caves) diving in the world. Always wanted to learn to dive? We can arrange classes for you.

Spanish Lessons

¿Te gustaría aprender a hablar español? We can arrange for private Spanish lessons for you at Casa de los Viajeros.

SUP

If you are looking to spend some time on top of the ocean, we can arrange local rentals a stand-up paddleboard. We can even arrange for lessons!

Eco Tours

Would you like to spend the day bird watching, or kayaking through the mangroves or swimming with turtles in a natural environment? We can arrange for any of these day trips.

Jungle Spa

Feeling stressed out? We can arrange for an authentic Mayan massage in the jungle.

Island Time

If you would like to spend the day at the turtle farm on Isla Mujeres, exploring Holbox or diving in Cozumel we can arrange this for you.

Love Mexican food? We can arrange for you to take home the skills to cook your own Mexican classics.

Fishing

Action packed sports fishing or relaxing bottom fishing, both kinds are available just outside the reef in Puerto Morelos. Ask us about booking you on a trip.

Cenote and Jungle Tours

Cenotes are sinkholes and caves filled with cool, crystal-clear waters, an amazing place to swim and snorkel during our warm, sunny days.  Many cenotes also have zip lines and offer ATV tours. Let us know if you would like to explore the Ruta de Cenotes near Puerto Morelos.

 

Bike the Town

Get yourself a set of wheels! The village of Puerto Morelos is easy to get around, but it is even easier on a bike. Let us know and we can arrange for a bike to be waiting for you when you arrive.

There are many yoga classes and pilates classes in Puerto Morelos. We can help you find the one that best suits you.

Walking Tour of the Colonia

If you would like to know more about “La Colonia”, the other part of our village on the far side of the highway, we can arrange a walking tour for you. The tour takes you on a collectivo ride, a walk around the village and some food tasting. A great way to get to know Puerto Morelos and Mexico better.

Theme Parks

Xcaret, Xel-Ha, Xoximilco, Xplor, Xichen, and Xenses. If you would like to go to any of the big parks along our coast, we are happy to arrange a day trip for you with or without transportation.

Swim with the Whale Sharks

During the summer months, the whale sharks come to visit and they are happy to let you snorkel alongside them. We can arrange this exciting day trip for you.

Tequila Tasting

Have you always wanted to know more about Mexico’s national drink, Tequilla? We can arrange for an afternoon of information and education on tequila.

Taxi or Transportation Services

If you would like to arrange for airport pickup or drop off, or you would just like to spend the day with a private driver taking you around our area, we can arrange for that too! Custom tours… no problem. Just ask.
